I clicked on a link on facebook and my computer was infected with a virus.

I cleaned the virus out with Malwarebyte and Avast.

But now I can't access facebook. It says unable to connect. Other sites work fine though.

I also can't open any MS office files. The error message says "Error 25090. Office Setup encountered a problem with the office source engine, system error: -2147924893".

I also can't open iTunes.

here's what i have done so far

- system restore
- use open DNS
- checked the host but there was nothing out of the ordinary
- checked my proxy was fine too - no proxy
- Also did a HiJackthis scan and didn't find anything out of the ordinary

Please tell me what I need to do :( :( thanks so much

Hello, neither of these appear to be malware and I don't use Face book. But the Office error may be fixable like this.

Put your Office CD in and ley it start up. If needed click the Setup.exe file to start it.
When it starts click Cancel. Click OK to the prompts come up after you have clicked Cancel.

This should fix it..
