As per your website's instructions, I downloaded fixNCR.reg to take care of the Windows 7 2012 Security virus. Now, the registry is messed up and I can't load programs from the task bar and some of the desktop icons aren't working. A window pops up asking me what program I would like to use to open the program I'm trying to open.

Edit: Moved topic from Win 7 to the more appropriate forum, at the request of staff. ~ Animal

Welcome aboard Posted Image

Download and run exeHelper.

  • Please download exeHelper from Raktor to your desktop.
  • Double-click on exeHelper.com to run the fix.
  • A black window should pop up, press any key to close once the fix is completed.
  • A log file named log.txt will be created in the directory where you ran exeHelper.com
  • Attach the log.txt file to your next message.

Note: If the window shows a message that says "Error deleting file", please re-run the program before posting a log - and post the two logs together (they will both be in the one file).
