For the past few days my computer won't update itself. Every time I try to update it, the computer tells me that there is an Error. My computer gives me this "code 643" and when I look for help to gives me this number "WindowsUpdate_00000643" it makes no since to me at all.

Can someone please help me.

I also would like to know how do I stop my laptop from over heating?

Thank You!

Are you talking about Windows Updates?
Some particular update, or any update?

Please post full error message.

OK, I had same problems with couple of those .NET Framework updates. Some other people as well.

Download those updates from MS site manually and install them one by one.
Go to MS site and search for them by KBxxxxx number.
