Today at 11AM ish I recieved a bounce letter to my @yahoo.com account saying I had sent a piece of spam to contact "A" and many more. My email it setup to run everything through gmail, so I just forward all @yahoo.com mail to my @gmail.com (using yahoo Asia for free fowarding). I also received the original spam mail in my gmail spam folder, and the spam was labeled as "to: me@yahoo.com" "from: me@yahoo.com".

I quickly changed my yahoo password, and then check the recent activity to see someone from "Russia" accessed my yahoo account at the same time as this email was sent out (11:16AM). My question is whether I have done enough to prevent such spambot from attacking again. Me being foolish has used the same password for many years, as well as the same username as my email, but I have plans to upgrade my security as we speak.

EDIT: Just checked my gmail recent activity and there was only my IP, so that was safe. What bothers me is they logged in through @yahoo but somehow sent it to some contacts that are only on my gmail. The yahoo account has no contacts saved.

I also read in this article here about spoofing and forging, which I am a victim of?
