Hi,
Whenever my Win32 generic host crash i am unable to get back on the internet.
I tried searching a solution on this website and other websites but I couldnt find it (or i didnt tried hard enough)
I am running on Windows xp Sp3, using Norton Internet security as realtime scanner while other programs such as malware anti bytes and super spyware are installed. I also have spywareblaster to protect during browsing
I hope you guys have a solution for this

Thanks in advance

Please...post the exact error message...and tell us exactly what you are doing on the system when such message appears.

System manufacturer and model?

So I just have to instal the fix even though the fix is for sp2 as described (i am running on windows xp sp3)
although I thank you for your help Dan

Afaik its not an error message with codes in it. It its notification that it shut the program down due an encountered problem
My computer is made by dell and i am actually dont know what model it is since its custom built
At the time I was playing "Garry's mod" my internet started to lagg on which point it timed out.
I shut down garry's mod and 5 min later I get that message
I tried to restart the internet through my computer on which it refused to do, after rebooting the computer its works fine again, but yet again its an annoying problem. And its time consuming to reboot the pc everytime this happens

"... even though the fix is for sp2 ..."
Correct. SP2 is "embedded" in SP3.

I have recently learned that SP2 should be installed before SP3. I know I have the info SOMEWHERE on my machine, I just can't find it again........

SP2 is part of SP3.

If the system has SP1 installed...the user can just install SP3, then go to Windows Update for over 100 additional updates that have been issued since SP3 was released.

hmmm i think there is an misunderstanding here
The http://support.microsoft.com/kb/894391 you send which I downloaded.

I tried to turn the setup on and this is the message:
The setup has recongnize that the version of the installed servicepack
is newer thatn the update you want to instal.
You dont need to instal this update
