Celebration of racial equality.
Equal Educational opportunities
were the basic themes of his life.

These topics weren't real popular in the mainstream back in the sixties.
I'm glad he pushed them beyond the comfort zone of people then,
so we have some of the benefits now.

Even if it seems an "odd holiday", after all.
It's been a couple thousand years since the Christmas birthday,
and longer we celebrate new years day. :thumbsup:
