Its a hp compaq 500b no sound when trying to play youtube. No sound on abc tv.com
when on aol.com do hear sound when youve got mail.
Tried everything looked at device manager and under sound it shows realtech
totally anyone have any ideas truly would appreciate it.

If I understand correctly the ONLY time there is no sound is on the web (when using a browser) - is that correct?

nope no sound with you tube, or abc tv, just for some reason when you go to aol.com and sign in when new mail comes in i hear a ding, thats it

should create a new profile and see if that helps?
