Hi:
i haven't been able to get my computer (running windows xp home) to go into standby mode for some time. I gave up trying. As far as i can tell, the problem may have started when i loaded Zone Alarm's firewall on my computer. I'm not exactly sure this is the cause, but i can't go into standby now. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Has anyone experienced not being able to go into Standby regardless of having Zone Alarm or not? One other thing, when i hit the start button and then 'turn off computer'...the Standby option is grayed out.

Thank you

Have you made sure all your drivers are updated most importantly your chipset and video card?
