As comparison, I am posting the hijackthis log of my PC running well on a seperate physical network.

I am paranoid that even though I have taken steps to take care of my system, that something is here!

Thanks in advance for any eyes which can provide guidance or validation.

Ok, so I was futzing around on the site and read a thread involving CWS.

I followed the steps involving AboutBuster and CWSShredder - each found & cleaned problems in safe mode. I then ran Adaware in safemode and deleted CWS.

I rebooted and am posting a new Hijackthis log.

My question - now that I think I have a clean PC, how do I keep it clean? I will check for threads on this topic on this site but am amazed, even after running Adaware, AVG, MS Anti-spyware on startup, that I still have crap on my PC!!!!

What good is a network if the only way you can keep your PC clean is to not connect to the network?????

Hi

Disable Microsoft AntiSpyware Real-time Protection because it may interfere with the fix.

Run HijackThis!, press Scan, and put a checkmark next to all these:

O16 - DPF: {62475759-9E84-458E-A1AB-5D2C442ADFDE} -
O16 - DPF: {74D05D43-3236-11D4-BDCD-00C04F9A3B61} -
O16 - DPF: {75D1F3B2-2A21-11D7-97B9-0010DC2A6243} -

Close all other windows and browsers, and press the Fix Checked button.

How did I get infected ? With steps so it does not happen again !
Everyday is virus day. Do you know where your recovery CDs are ?
Did you create them yet ?
