Hello,
All, I would like to uninstall ubuntu that I am currently dual booting with windows xp. I have searched this site and got a little concerned when I saw that I needed to delete partions and boot from the recovery disc to over write the mbr. I am a novice computer user at best so bear with me if I don't make sense. I believe I installed Ubuntu with the Wubi installer (but am not sure) and have read that if this is the case all I have to do is uninstall from the add/remove programs utility, is that correct? This program is not on a separate partion so I am thinking that is what I have to do and am able to skip the steps mentioned above, but wanted to get an expert opinion before I messed anything up. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. John

Have you looked to see if it is in your Windows XP Add/ Remove list? If it is then you can uninstall it from there.

Thanks for your quick reply. Yes it is in my add remove list and I assumed I could just un install from there but I wanted to make certain because the of other research I had done didn't make it sound that easy. Thanks again.
