Hello and welxome.. There are 3 repair methods here that one should work.

Repair from the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE)

Thank you so far.
I didn't have a recovery disk for this pc so i tried downloading one, i have also tried making one from my daughters win7 laptop. neither work, i enter the language and tried system restore, but it didnt work. Packard bell want £51 for a disk, which upset me slightly as the pc was only purchased in january.

do you think i should buy the packard bell one or is there something elese i can try?
