Hello Guys,

Ok I have done some reading up on the forums here so I hope this is the right place to post. I have a windows 7 system and think I have been hacked. I believe the hacker got to me off of craigslist when I was replying to w4m post thinking its single women sending pics to my emails (yes I am single) lol. I would start a conversation with someone I met and they would email pictures of themselves then I wouldn't hear from them again. So I believe if I got hacked this is where it would occur. If not, it would have occurred from using a network my landlord set up, either way, the big question I have is: ((((AM I INFECTED?))) LOL

Windows 7 system upgrade.

I have been noticing my desktop icon files and the name changing on them. This guy who hacked me is toying with me, some of my desktop icons are renamed the password to get into them. So there letting me know their in my system (smart hacker to say the least). I also have noticed my yahoo login page changes on me. Yahoo has this feature where you can set a sign in seal on the login page so you know its their webpage and every time I set it up, it changes and is no longer there. I have run Avira anti virus, Malwarebytes Anti-walware, and SUPER antispyware. all of them come up with nothing but I did a SUPER antispyware in safe mode and it pulled up 20 files in safe mode but didn't in regular load up. I erased them in them safemode. I also have hijackthis but I get pop ups when I try to load it or remove something in it.

So where else can I start to get ride of this guy? You help is much appreciated...

Hello

I see that you have a topic posted in the log forum here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic411487.html

We do not allow more than one topic for the same computer and the same issue as this causes confusion, and in this case may make the disinfection process more difficult.

Please note: you should NOT make further changes to your computer (install/uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc) unless advised by an MRT Team member, nor should you continue to ask for help elsewhere. Doing so can result in system changes which may not show in the log you already posted. Further, any modifications you make on your own may cause confusion for the helper assisting you and could complicate the malware removal process which would extend the time it takes to clean your computer.

From this point on the MRT Team should be the only members that you take advice from, until they have verified your log as clean.

Please be patient. It may take a while to get a response because the MRT Team members are EXTREMELY busy working logs posted before yours. They are volunteers who will help you out as soon as possible. Once you have made your post and are waiting, please DO NOT make another reply until it has been responded to by a member of the MRT Team. Generally the staff checks the forum for postings that have 0 replies as this makes it easier for them to identify those who have not been helped. If you post another response there will be 1 reply. A team member, looking for a new log to work may assume another MRT Team member is already assisting you and not open the thread to respond.

Please be patient. It may take a few more days to get a response but your log will be reviewed and answered as soon as possible. I advise checking your topic once a day for responses as the e-mail notification system is unreliable.
