I just recently encountered my first virus spy ware invasion and although I have done everything I can resource my comp is still slow and constantly pausing and resetting. I donít know exactly what spy ware I had but it changed the desktop. I have already gone through the step by step postings on what to do. Going into the regedit area was new territory for me but I went slowly managed to regain the system. I now have MacAfee, Norton for virus and I run Xofsoft for my spy ware. Even though it says everything is ok its 50% slower than before I had any infection. Heres what I know and what I would like to. I know Spy ware and virus are separate issues however I think I encountered both problems at the same time. Will running MacAfee and Norton Simultaneously create a problem? Should I even have both of them? I run Adobe CS2 all day on my computer and I canít take it being slow anymore. Is there anything I can do to get it back or does it need to be professionally cleaned up. Please help! I have the time to figure it out but not the $ to pass my problem.

Use 1 Anti-Virus program, 1 Firewall and many Anti-Spyware programs, supplemented by occasional online Anti-Virus scans.

Soltek QBIC, Pentium 4 3.0GHz, 512MB RAM, 200GB SATA HDD, ATI Radeon 9600XT 256MB, Netgear 54Mb/s WAP, ridiculously expensive Satellite Broadband
Windows XP Home SP2, Trend Micro Internet Security, Firefox, Thunderbird, AdAwareSE, Spybot S&D, SpywareBlaster, A-squared Free, Ewido Security Suite.
