My grandaughter was playing on a game reality site, and shouted for me as the screen had frozen.

I called up task manager to get out of it, but to no avail. I eventually switched off the computer, and restarted.

When calling up the task manager again, it came up as a Blank box. There were no tool bars at the top, but those at the bottom were there.

I have not tried a system restore yet, as there may a simple solution out there.

I have done malware and virus scans, and all seems ok.

Any advice please ??

Just double-click on the window edge of the tab bar of task manager to toggle normal view.
