Hello and welcome to Bleeping computer.

I can understand your grief, but using all caps comes across to most people as yelling, so please remain calm and perhaps we can get things working as they should be.

Are you sure the card reader is not at fault?

Do you have another SDHC or SD card to see if that does work? This will yell you if your reader is the problem.

There is also the possibility the device is defective, try returning it to where you purchased it if it continues to fail to work.

What is the make, model number and operating system of your computer?

Bruce.
