thanks for looking.

I have been asked to look at a medion laptop for a friend. On occasion when you click the left button by the pointing device it brings up a dialogue box to delete whatever you have clicked on. This may repeat then a number of times and task amanger is required to close them. At this point the laptop pointing device is unresponsive (you cant touch is to pick).

Then it will stop and be ok for a while until it randomly starts again.

Would this bhe more likely hardware failure or virus/malware related.

I have run MBAM and eset online check which are both clean.

Any ideas as to a diagnostic program to check this or is it pc repair shop ;0(

TIA

REgards
