Thanks to a bottle of good ole Russian Vodka, while playing blackjack last night
I managed to hit Degauss while adjusting the brightness on my Acer monitor.
Of course now I can't seem to find Degauss anywhere.
Anyone good with monitors, or vodka ??

Actually, I've heard tell that it's not good to degauss too often (comments?).

Degauss is one of the on-screen controls in your monitor. A description of your monitor (make and model) would help.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Sort of a "post found in future" amendment...

Degauss is the option that looks like a horseshoe magnet. As usama states, it is found using the menu system on the display itself. If your display has strange colors (I have seen purple or blue areas "blobs") you can use this function to help clear it.
