While visiting my parents and trying to clean up their Windows XP computer to run faster, I came across a program that won't uninstall: HOT ALBUM MYBOX. A Google search eventually led me to Bleeping Computer. I've searched for 'HOT ALBUM MYBOX' on this site, but nothing came up, nor was it listed in the Uninstall List directory. So here I am.
After briefly researching Malwarebyte's Antimalware enough to feel comfortable with it, I installed, updated and ran it, which found the following infections:
Registry Keys Infected: 22
Registry Data Items Infected: 1
Folders Infected: 8
Files Infected: 42
Malwarebyte's Antimalware now shows no infections, but I still can't get HOT ALBUM MYBOX to uninstall. Any fixes for this?
Thanks for your help & patience with a newbie,
Running: Win XP (home edition, Service Pack 3)
