Hello, I work for a small college and often remote in to my work computer via a VPN. I only live about 500 yards from there main access point on a water tower and can get a signal from about 100 feet from my house. My question is what kind of equipment do I need to get this signal inside the house. I was thinking I could get an antenna and mount it on the roof. This would save me around $50 a month and solve the problems I'm having with the VPN dropping every 30 minutes. Will this even work? What would I need? Thanks
