System model?

What does your manual or system support webpage say...about the tones/blinking light? Where is this blinking light located..."on the front" is s little vague.

Try replacing the CMOS battery with a brand new one.

There doesn't seem to be a lot that I can suggest, the documentation for your system lies on the system.

The blinking yellow light usualy indicates a power issue with the power supply on emachine models less than 4 years old (vista or newer) I would check the power supply voltage and replace it if it fails the test. Also if the computer is over 4 years old I would check for swollen or leaking capacitors behind the CPU socket on the motherboard as I have seen these cause similar problems
