Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knew of any RAM brands that MacBooks might not recognize. I'd like to know this information before going out and buying some new RAM for my MacBook. Should I buy Apple brand RAM or would it be ok to buy a different brand? Thanks!

My best of advice would be to go to the RAM manufactures website and check for RAM from there that maybe compatible with you current system.

Some common ones are:

http://www.corsair.com

http://www.kingston.com

http://www.crucial.com

http://www.mushkin.com/

Just name a few, there are other RAM companies out there.

You can also check here: Mac Memory and see which best fits your budget.
