I have a non-life threatening error on Disk 1 (C:, D:, and E: partitions) that's preventing me from resizing with PartitionMagic v8. Digital Dolly v1.0 seems to do what I need to do to recover, but I can't use the program. I boot from the CD successfully until it tries to find new hardware. Since neither my keyboard nor mouse responds at this point, I can't manually detect my configuration and the program eventually times out to the main menu. I still can't use the keyboard or mouse there either so I'm forced to reset.

Can I get around this?

Actually, on examination, I have a USB mouse but the keyboard is connected directly to the keyboard port.

Problem solved - Moved the mouse from the USB to the mouse port and everything works. Now I've just got to figure the rest of the program out.

Thanks.

Use the "Help" button in each frame. They are very instructive.

Good luck.
