I’ve added a new removal tool to my toolkit. It’s the TDL4 Removal Tool from BitDefender. I’ve used it twice in cases where tdsskiller won’t run. http://www.malwarecity.com/community/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=25 – 32bit TDL4 Remover http://www.malwarecity.com/community/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=26 – 64bit TDL4 Remover BitDefender also offers a “top 100″ removal tool for each month. You can find those here: http://www.malwarecity.com/community/index.php?app=downloads&showcat=1.

regards,
shre.

It was released the first part of July: BitDefender Releases Free Removal Tool for TDL4

Symantec has a tool as well: FixTDSS (Backdoor.Tidserv Removal Tool).
