Hell All,

Specs:
I am running IE v9 (9.0.8112.16421 - 256 bit) on Windows Vista Home Edition (sp2)

Issue:
When i am browswing any site, and click a link which will open a second browser tab, i immediately get an error message "Internet Explorer has Stopped Working" with a Close Program button. This will only close out the new tab that was attempting to be opened.

Solution:
This is what I am looking for. I would think there is a setting in IE. Prior to upgrading to IE v9, i was on v8 and at one point was ok, but eventually started having this issue, cant remember exactly when. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thank you in advance!

In IE go Tools>Internet options>Advanced tab, click on "Reset" button.
Restart IE.
Same problem?

Broni,

I followed your advice & seem to be good now - at least on one of the sites that i was experiencing the issue. I am waiting for my fiance to test it out; she was also complaining of the issue. I will post back if i see it happens again.

THANKS SO MUCH!
