Hi, I'm a new bee in this forum. My laptop running windows vista is infected with virus? malware? symtoms are (1) A "System Repair - PC performance & stability analysis report" window pops up every time, and (2) All directories/files seem to have disappeared. I found there are some discussion groups including this one talking about similar problem. But there's too much information. Can someone point me to set of instructions to get rid of the virus and to restore my files back?

Thanks a lot!

Try this:

The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who haven't got it.
