I am having a problem where anytime I click a Google search result link I get redirected to a different website. This websites are not always the same, but one recurring domain is the 64.211.xxx. I have tried malwarebytes anti-malware, super-antispyware, TDSS killer, my own anti-virus suite which is Kaspersky Internet Security 2011, and I have tried locating and editing my hosts file (which cannot be found, the hosts.old file is present but the actual file is not). To locate the hosts file I have tried viewing hidden files and folders but that is not working either. Additionally, I have tried replacing my hosts file with the MVPS HOSTS File, which I found online.

I am at my wits end I have finally come here; hopefully someone can help me.

Specifications:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
Mozilla Firefox 3.6.18
Kaspersky Internet Security 2011

Preparation Guide ,do steps 6 - 9.

Create a DDS log and post it in the new topic explained in step 9,which is here Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs and not in this topic, thanks.
If Gmer won't run, skip it and move on.
Let me know if that went well.
