I have had my Win 7 64 bit PC for a while now, and have always had problems printing to my HP Officejet V45. Basically what happens is that when I send a job to be printed, the printer will only print about the first 4 or 5 lines (if its a Word doc for example) of the first page and then I get an error saying the document could not be printed.

If I connect my sons laptop, that also runs Win 7 64 bit, to the same printer, it works fine.

Can anyone give me any ideas as to what is happening here, I presume that its something to do with the PC as the laptop works fine, and therefore also not a printer issue.

I have downloaded the lastest drivers for the printer (which actually do not give a lot of the functions that were available under xp). Could it be that the PC is sending the information too quickly and the printer can't cope? (sorry if thats a really dumb question!!)

Any help will be much appreciated.
