Hello,

I need some help please! I got the Zentom virus (I think from downloading youtube videos), I followed the instructions here in the virus removal forum. It looks like the virus is removed, however, my computer is still very slow. I cannot run programs, I cannot shutdown the computer properly, I cannot run windows task manager and in fact, I cannot run hijack this to see what the problem is. Can someone please help me? I would greatly appreciate it! I have been working on this problem for three days now! :-(

Thanks,
hwg

I've asked a mod to move this to the appropriate forum. Please wait for a malware specialist to respond.

Thanks! Sorry I posted in wrong forum.

I did follow that guide, hamluis. Unfortunately, the malware bytes program was not able to remove the viruses it detected. Further, I deleted those files mentioned in dos. I don't think the Zentom is the problem any longer, it may be other things acting up.
