display no working

dell dimension 3000 xp pack 3 monitor sampo
my display is no working i can't change resolution
and only can change the adapter mode to 640x480 high color(16 bit)
default refresh but the problem my screen is to big
i try download driver intel 82865g but gime error unknown error has
occured setup wil exit

There are 3 different drivers listed for that system...only one of them is the proper one.

Look at the documentation for your system, download the correct one.

Then...Start/Run...type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter. Uninstall the drivers currently listed under Display Adapters. Reboot the system, install the correct video drivers.
