my friend has a compaq presario f700 (gr967ua#aba)
vista home premium

and cannot connect to internet. it says the adapter is not found. i think i need the drivers for it but i cant find them
what should i do??

What Sneakycyber meant was: what kind of adapter is used when connecting to the internet? Wired (ethernet), wireless, etc.

i tried to connect wirelessly i will have to try wired though...ill see

Open his device manager and check his network adapters. Might need to update drivers or better yet, install drivers. These should be able to be found on the manufacture's website. Download them to a flash drive and transfer to his computer
