HI all

I know this is a computer forum but since this is general I thought I would post it here :P

I know people will say glue or tape or even toothpick to get double eyelid (other than surgery)

Some also say losing fat on your face will help you develop double eyelid.

Question is, I already have a crease, I can see it when im in the sun or looking down (looking down on a mirror for example). Does this mean I only need to lose weight to get it?

Thanks

Just wondering :S

Because when I look down, I can easily and clearly see it, which makes me think, maybe the fat is the one covering the double eyelids?

How strange?

I had never heard of it before, so got curious about it.

The epicanthal fold is the skin fold of the upper eyelid covering the inner corner of the eye, most often seen in "Mongoloid" people.

Medical conditions that cause epicanthal folds

Medical conditions that cause the nasal bridge to not mature and project are associated with epicanthal folds. For example, one of the tell-tale signs of Down Syndrome is absent or hypoplastic (reduced) nasal bones and the accompanying presence of epicanthal folds. In another medical condition, Peroxisomal Disorder, a flat nasal bridge came with the associated epicanthal folds. Another example is Fetal Alcohol Syndrome that causes a "broad low nasal bridge" and its accompanying "epicanthic folds". Another example occurrs in people exposed to carbamazepine in the womb who turn out having a "broad nasal bridge" and "epicanthal folds". Other examples are Cri du chat syndrome, Williams syndrome, and Triple-X syndrome, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and pre-term birth.
