Let's try this.

Download/install BlueScreenView, http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html .

Double-click BlueScreenView.exe file.

When scanning is done, click Edit/Select All...then File/Save Selected Items.

Save the report as BSOD.txt.

Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content and paste it into your next reply.

Thanks for you reply Louis, I don't know if it matters but Win7 is on drive E: and vista is on drive C: (and my problem is with Win7)...so as i noticed bluescreenview.exe is generating reports based on C:\windows\minidump...and not E:'s minidump..which in any case is an empty folder as i checked.

Anyways here is the report generated as per your instructions.
Thanks and appreciate any feedback.

Did you recently update your video card driver? If you did, please roll back to the previous version. If not, then please go to the nvidia website and download and install the latest driver for your card.

It doesn't matter what drive an O/S is on...if you download/install that program from within that O/S...it should function properly.

Any O/S that is booted into...automaticallly becomes the C: drive, while the letters referencing any other boot drive changes.

no, when win7 is loaded it get to the blue screen-->memory dump--> restart---> repair mode access---> recovery can't fix---> shut down.

Well a number, but not all of those errors are caused by an nvidia driver. If you can't get into the OS I'm not sure what to recommend other than a reinstallation of the OS.

Yes, I'm sure you were ------ and I'd love to provide one. Believe me, when I suggest a reinstall of the OS it's always a last resort. Still, I suppose someone else may be able to think of something I haven't..........
