I have a Mac Os X 10.6.8

I am sure I have either Malware or Spyware on My Mac

I continually get pop ups when using Firefox5 even though the block pop up box is ticked

My mouse freezes up

When I try to open sites I belong to they don't load, yet they load fine for others

Can Spyware/Malware affect Your Mail, I use Googlemail?

I have Eset Cybersecurity but that can only pick up virus not malware or spyware apparently

can anyone suggest what I could use to get rid of Spyware/Malware on a Mac please

Thanks

Are popups trying to get you to buy something? Like a security program?
Do you have NoScript addon installed in Firefox? I recommend you install NoScript and use it.
