So I continually got hit by viruses 2 weeks ago. I was able to get rid of them, but my start up has been very slow. I have a HP Pavilion laptop with Rainmeter, Rocketdock, AVG 9, Windows update, Java update, Adobe update and Intel Media Graphics running at start up. I usually close the Java and Adobe update. How do I speed up my laptop's start up back to normal (and by normal, I mean everything is loaded within 3 minutes)?

Remove Ad-aware and AVG. You dont need them as you have MSE.

I'm going to do it now

EDIT: I have removed AVG successfully, but Ad-ware did not show up anywhere in my laptop. My RAM usage has gone down from 40%-50% to 30%-40% on start up, but is still slow. Also, I checked the virus history on MSE and it said that Backdoor:Win32/Cycbot.B was still allowed.
