My wireless laptop has suddenly stopped connecting to the internet. Even When I plug the Ethernet cable directly into the laptop it will still not connect to the internet. I have a vista dell laptop with service pack 2 installed. Router is a WRT54GL with tomato firmware installed. I have tried doing system restores, scans with malwarebytes, super antispyware that I installed today off a usb which found nothing. Microsoft essentials did find some exploit with java ,while the other scan where going through. Also the proxy settings have been turned on for firefox/IE ,but turning those off did nothing.
