Hi There

I've been using the same P2P software for years and it has started asking me to install Flash.

I have checked several forums and followed all instructions, uninstalled the program, flash and java and installed them all as administrator and made sure i have the latest versions of all. The same window pops up asking me to install flash.

I use firefox as my browser.

I read one forum where a user with the same issue said they had used combofix and this had solved the problem. I have downloaded combofix but not used it as yet.

Does anyone have any advice on the issue or using combofix.

There is a new malware which imitates Adobe Flash updater and asks you to update flash. This malware targets Firefox and Chrome only.
You should do what hamluis said and start a new topic in Am I Infected section.
