How to get wireless drivers for my laptop back

Awhile back the harddrive for one of my laptops went bad and my dad took it out and did who knows what with it then. i found a old harddrive put it in an incaseing then installed ubuntu onto it but i can only connect to the internet via Ethernet so i was wondering how i would go about geting the drivers for the wireless in it onto it. it is a compaq presario v6000
