With my desktop cpu slowing down, I decided to run the backup utility to save all of my files before running the
restore program. Once I knew all my files were safely backed on my usb hard drive, I ran the restore. Now I am
trying to reload my backup files and the system will not let me. I have saved the zip files to my desktop for now
and have been trying to locate the folder to move them into to see if that will work.

I had a similar issue with a friends XP loaded computer but I was able to load the Microsoft Utility Backup Software but it
looks like this program will not load on Vista. I have the home version of Vista.

Any suggestion would be extremely appreciated.

Thank you,

Troy

If the files are in a .zip.. you should be able to right click the folder and extract the files.. or just go into the .zip and try and open a file and that should start the extraction process.
