i need help. i have windows me and when i check my email and try to open an attachment i get this message in a box that say something like this " iexplore error is causing a problem yt.dll and close if problem persist" and when i go to close the box by the x or the close button it will close the email site but not shut down the computer and i still be connected it just closes the internet explorer on me. also when i am checking my email and i go to delete it a window pops up stating " an active x control on this page is not safe. your current security settings prohibit running unsafe controls on this page. as a result, this page may not display as intended. " but i still can delete the email and open the next one and it does it again all the time...

Hello lulu1 and welcome to BC.

yt.dll is asociated with the Yahoo Toolbar. You can try uninstalling this and see if the problem persists.
