Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with non-Apple parts for their Macbook. Specifically, I'd like to get a new battery and increase the memory on my Macbook, but I find that Apple batteries and memory are expensive. However, I do know that there are other brand products that are compatible with Macbooks, but I've just personally never used them, so I was wondering if anyone on here had. Thanks for any info!!

You can purchase "Mac RAM" from places other than Apple and save a ton of money. Check this out http://www.amazon.com/s?ie=UTF8&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3AMac%20RAM&page=1 . They also sale batteries there.. http://www.amazon.com/Apple-Rechargeable-Battery-MA561LL-Packaging/dp/B000RJTZZ0

You don't have to get everything from Apple themselves but as long as the product is Apple "capable" it should be fine.
