Hi, my laptop was infected and I downloaded an antimalware program and because it wouldn't load i renamed it to explorer.exe as suggested to me by someone on another formu. From there i kept getting an error message saying explorer has stopped working and that it was restarting, this would not go away or let me do anythng (basically stuck in a loop), so I was told to do a system restore but it would not complete.
Now when the computter starts the following message is displayed:

Launch Start up Repair (recommended)
or
Start windows normally

No matter which I select (also in safe mode) i get the blue screen with th following error code - STOP 0Xoooooooo,0x00000000,0x00000000,0xoooooooo

I am running vista on a Fujitsu Siemens Laptop but i'm not sure/able to obtain more inormation at present because my laptop wont start and i don't have the original disc.

Plase can anyone suggest wha to do?

Thanks

managed to stop the error code by downloading a trial version of windows 7 (did not install just booted the disc then canceled) but now no matter what mode i start in the start up repair is stuck in sort of a loop, checking then retarting windows to then start checking again. (Below is the details of the diagnosis and repair details)

Does anyone have an idea what i should do now?
