Hi Guys,

I have been looking around to help myself, but I must admit there's too much 'self help' material available if anything!.

My main issue is the NVidia driver has totally disappeared from 'Device Manager' with the obvious consequence on video playback. Sound
remains unafected. I believe it started with some Photoshop plugins that I foolishly downloaded from Torrents around a month ago. The BSOD
episodes have now ceased, but I had Google redirect problems up until tdsskiller managed to remove whatever was causing that.
I downloade the applicable NVidia copy (GeForce 8400 GM) from the Sony website, but message appears when trying to add it to the system stating
that 'Access is Denied'

If anyone can point me in the right direction for a start I'd be stoked. My apologies that I don't know the initial
details that you guys would need to begin with....

Basics:

Vista 32 bit - Service Pack 1. (Attempting to d/l sp2 at the moment).

Thanks!!.
