I sure hope someone out there can help a senior citizen out. My PC has slowed to a crawl most of the time but especially while searching the internet. I don't know where to start. I've seen, while searching the internet, that some people call it a virus and other people call it a trojan. I see the words, waiting about: blank, in the bar at the bottom of the screen. I have never had a blank page come up on screen but my PC slows down to an impossible crawl or freezes up altogether. Where do I start looking for a way to fix it? I hope someone out there can help me. Thanks and God Bless.

Edit: Moved topic from Vista to the more appropriate forum, at the request of staff. ~ Animal

I've asked a mod to move this to the appropriate forum. Please wait for a malware specialist to respond.
