Hello All,

My machine is playing up and i'd like your help please.

When i'm in Google (for example) and click on a search result it will take me to another page

When i start Exploler it goes to some weird default home page (res://shdocpl.dll/blank.htm)

It brings up unwanted webpages..

Here is my Log:

Hi Subs,

Here we go!

Downloaded the programmes that you requested me too (SMITREM didn't give me an icon, just a folder with 6 programmes in, i guess it must be one of these programmmes)

I've just run the FIXWAREOUT program and it has given the following message:

Check for missing files
.....
C:\WINDOWS\system32\AUTOEXEC.NT not there
.....
End check for missing files
.....
VXD Check
REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\VirtualDeviceDrivers]
"VDD"=hex(7):00
.....
End vxd check
.....
please post this at the forum

Please advise my next course of action

Cheers
DC
