This is a continuation of the discussion started here: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/30189/silent-tribute/

It is my most sincere hope that this conversation remains civil, because it is a good one.  Living in a world which is undoubtedly growing more dependant on a new model of resolving disputes and differences demands that we (members of the human race) plan our actions with greater wisdom and compassion than has been the case so far in human history.  The technological advances and inevitable proliferation of future weaponry create this imperative, not for the good of the United States or some other piece of land surrounded by an invisible line, but for the survival of our species.  Respecting that even people who on every issue seem to represent your diametric opposite still act and speak for what THEY think is right, rather than some innate evil our creator his instilled in 'this person' or 'that group', just might be the good start our new model needs.

Personally unless the major countries (China, Russia, and USA) agree I think that the world should be fine. However, if in the situation of how things are settled, like the Iran with nukes, esclades and causes enough panaic, I can gurantee that the 5 permanent seats in the UN will have some disagreement. Especially Russia. ;)
