I have a Lenovo Thinkpad W500 that takes 10 minutes to boot up to a hard drive with Vista on it. It also takes 10 minutes to boot to a boot CD without a hard drive installed. (Rules out operating system.) I've have run various diagnostic programs as well as burn-in programs with out any failures. Any ideas as to what the problem might be will be appreciated.

What is new or different since the last time everything worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, etc)?
