I have an old HP Photosmart1000 printer that I am trying to get to work in Windows 7. Is it possible? HP did not have a Win7 driver listed. I was wondering if there is a new driver that might work with this old printer.

Does the printer have a windows vista driver listed? Sometimes you can use vista drivers inplace of the Windows 7 drivers.

The last driver listed was XP which from what I have read XP drivers in Win 7 aren't compatible.
