I am using Seagate DiscWizard and Macrium Reflect to do backups. If I upgrade to a new motherboard and a new hard disk, will I be able to use these backups?...I sure hope so!

If it is a different motherboard from the one currently installed you will very likely have to do a clean install of the OS. And the fact is, you should do a clean install after changing to a different motherboard.
