It's my friends computer and he gave me permission to try and fix it. I've used this forum before for my computer, but forgot my old account, and the old email address i used, I don't have anymore. It's a Toshiba Laptop (I don't know the model # yet, I'm heading over there today later.) with Windows 7.

A couple days ago it would start normally, with the exception that Win 7 Antivirus is infecting my computer. Not able to load anything but FireFox even though it still gives you problems, and won't let you download anything.

Yesterdy I started it up and Startup Repair Tool started, it says it couldn't be performed, tells me it's gonna Restart when I click the button, I click it and it Shuts Down. And it just keeps going over and over. I went to the screen where the System Recovery Options are. I tried System Restore to a couple days before the Loop started. So I tried to Restore both drives it said they were both successful. Restarted and back to the loop. I haven't tried the System Image thing, don't know what it is. Did the Memory Diagnostic Tool, of course I can't log on to see the Results. I don't know if I can get into Command, I haven't tried.

When I go into Boot Mode, Both Safe Mode's don't work. Safe Mode with Command Prompt, I haven't tried. I don't know if Anything elses on the screen works (Enable Boot Logging, Enable Low Resolution video (640 x 480), Last Know Good Configuration, etc.) The lap top battery died, and I won't have one til tonight (Hopefully.) My friend says he lost his Windows 7 Disc

Please help.
