Hola, welcome to the forum. Sorry for the wait, there are many logs You do have some nasty stuff but you can remove it if you will follow the directions.

Thanks to Swandog46 and any others who helped with this fix.

BEFORE BEGINNING, Please read completely through the instructions below and download the files from the links provided. You may want to save or print out these instructions for easier reference.

First, download Ewido Security Suite.

Next, download Lavasoft's Ad-Aware and the VX2 Cleaner Plug-in. Install Ad-Aware using the default options, then install vx2cleaner_inst.exe, taking all the defaults there as well.

Run Ad-Aware, update to the latest definitions, then click on Add-ons in the lefthand column. Select VX2 Cleaner V2.0 and click Run Tool. Click "OK", then, if something is found, click "Clean" as in the directions given. Click "Close", and exit Ad-Aware.

Reboot your PC and run Ad-Aware again. This time, click on the Start button in Ad-Aware, select "Perform smart system scan" and click Next. Once the scan finishes, click "Next" again. Select all objects found (right click anywhere in the list of found objects and click "Select All Objects"). Click "Next" one more time, then "OK" to confirm the removal.

You will be prompted to set Ad-Aware to run on reboot, click "OK". Exit Ad-Aware and restart your PC once again.

When Ad-Aware starts up, click on "Start", then "Next". Follow the steps above if anything is found, or click "Finish", then exit Ad-Aware.

For a final cleanup, please install and run Ewido.
  • When installing, under "Additional Options" uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu".
  • When you run ewido for the first time, you may get a warning "Database could not be found!". Click OK. We will fix this in a moment.
  • From the main ewido screen, click on update in the left menu, then click the Start update button.
  • After the update finishes (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
  • Click on the Scanner button in the left menu, then click on Complete System Scan. This scan can take quite a while to run.
  • If ewido finds anything, it will pop up a notification. We have been finding some cases of false positives with the new version of Ewido, so we need to step through the fixes one-by-one. If Ewido finds something that you KNOW is legitimate (for example, parts of AVG Antivirus, pcAnywhere and the game "Risk" have been flagged), select "none" as the action. DO NOT check "Perform action with all infections". If you are unsure of an entry, select "none" for the time being. I'll see that in the log you will post later and let you know if ewido needs to be run again.
  • When the scan finishes, click on "Save Report". This will create a text file. Make sure you know where to find this file again.
Please finish up by rebooting your system once more, and posting a new HijackThis log and the log from the Ewido scan. We will have more to do. Tell me how the computer is runing now.

gracias...pskelley

MIl gracias for your help.

I follow the instructions and it went like this:

1.Run tool VX2 cleaner did not find anything, then I rebooted.
2. AAware scan came up with 27 critical files, a bunch of cookies and some "not harmful"
but as you said I selected all objects and cleaned them. Did not prompted to set run adware on reboot. I rebooted. and ran Adware again, nothing found, and finish.
3. Ran Ewido and it found was its been bothering me , a betterinternet, dialers, egdaAcces, even some trojans. I choose to remove them..although after the fact I wondered if some dialer.generic were not suppose to be removed..but I did anyway.
4. I rebooted and got a system message:
"Error loading EGDACCESS_1072.dll, cannot find specified module"

5. OPen IE and got a pop up from www.zipzapromos.com... some casino ad...and a warnig from MSAspyware Beta1.. that a program was trying to install an active X control so I blocked it.
6. Ran Ewido again and found two dialers..which I chose to remove,
7. Ran HiJack this.
Note: I Have tried to delete with Fix Checked the registry that contains F2 C:/windows/Nail.exe without
success..as I think this is the real bad Guy.

Here are the new logs:

Hello Manuel, I must report that something did not work in the fix to remove the Aurora/Nail infection. This fix also removes an nasty trojan called epolvy which is still there: O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [xwhepjf] c:\windows\system32\ivjhvbn.exe r
I seems something has failed and usually it is that all instructions are not followed correctly. I would like you to go through the fix again, you will not have to download anything this time except the cleaner at the end. Carefully make sure you follow each instruction. I will write the fix down like this, and add to it HJT to use.

First, use these instruction to turn off Microsoft AntiSpyware as it may be blocking the fix:
Open Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Click on Tools, Settings.
In the left pane, click on Real-time Protection.
Under Startup Options uncheck: Enable the Microsoft AntiSpyware Security Agents on startup (recommended).
Under Real-time spyware threat protection uncheck: Enable real-time spyware threat protection (recommended).
After you uncheck these, click on the Save button and close Microsoft AntiSpyware.
Right click on the Microsoft AntiSpyware icon on the taskbar and select Shutdown Microsoft AntiSpyware.

You are also running MSConfig in the Selective Startup mode. I must see the HJT logs in Normal mode so I can see everything. This information will show you how: http://netsquirrel.com/msconfig/ Put MSConfig in Normal mode before making a HJT log.

When installing, under "Additional Options" uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu".
When you run ewido for the first time, you may get a warning "Database could not be found!". Click OK. We will fix this in a moment.
From the main ewido screen, click on update in the left menu, then click the Start update button.
After the update finishes (the status bar at the bottom will display "Update successful")
Click on the Scanner button in the left menu, then click on Complete System Scan. This scan can take quite a while to run.
If ewido finds anything, it will pop up a notification.
When the scan finishes, click on "Save Report". This will create a text file. Make sure you know where to find this file again.

Start > Control Panel > Add Remove Programs > and uninstall this program if there: C:\archivos de programa\mailskinner\

Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

(some items may not be there, just don't miss any)

F2 - REG:system.ini: Shell=Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [xwhepjf] c:\windows\system32\ivjhvbn.exe r
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MailSkinner] c:\archivos de programa\mailskinner\mailskinner.exe
O16 - DPF: {B2B0AEDF-7CDF-4792-BB67-7654AD1E1B13} - http://scripts.downloadv3.com/binaries/IA/...svc32_ES_XP.cab

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

Enable hidden files&folders..reverse the process when finished.
http://www.xtra.co.nz/help/0,,4155-1916458,00.html

RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:

(some may not be there, just be careful not to miss any)

C:\WINDOWS\Nail.exe >>> file

c:\windows\system32\ivjhvbn.exe >>> file

c:\archivos de programa\mailskinner\ >>> folder

C:\Windows\Prefetch\ >>> delete everything in this folder (NOT THE FOLDER)
Prefetch info: http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_...refetch-XP.html

Download CCleaner from this link: http://www.ccleaner.com/ Review the instructions http://www.ccleaner.com/help/tour1.asp
Run CCleaner, Windows & Applications when you run the registry cleaner (Issues) you will be prompted to backup before you can remove stuff, make sure you do.

Restart the computer ands post the ewido scan results and a new HJT log.

gracias

Hola Manuel, one more time through for a good cleaning and then to see what ewido has to say. Please do in numbered order:

1) Download, update, configure and run these two programs: http://tomcoyote.org/aawsb.php
The newest version of Ad-aware is 1.06 and Spybot 1.04. Even if you have these programs, use the link to get the newest version, update and configure them as in the link. Run Spybot first, reboot then run Ad-aware. Both programs back up what they remove so delete anything the programs say should be removed.

2) Download CCleaner from this link: http://www.ccleaner.com/ Review the instructions http://www.ccleaner.com/help/tour1.asp
Run CCleaner, Windows & Applications when you run the registry cleaner (Issues) you will be prompted to backup before you can remove stuff, make sure you do.

3) To clean out the System Restore file, please do this:
Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Reboot.

Turn ON System Restore,
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

4) Now start the computer in safe mode:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/how-to-start-windows-in-safe-mode/

5) Now start ewido and run a complete system scan, remove what it finds unless you know it is not bad.

6) Post the ewido scan report and a new HJT log to see if we are done.

gracias

Hola' Manuel, please do this, post all logs in normal mode, not while in safe mode unless I request
otherwise.

Post the log in Normal startup, not Selective startup in MSConfig.
Like this: Start > Run > type "msconfig" without the quotes, then click OK. When the System Configuration Untility opens, click on the Startup tab. Then click Enable all, Apply and OK. Now make a new HJT log and post it for a final look. You may return to Selective startup at that point if you wish.

I would also like you to run Spybot and then to post the information you are seeing so I can view it.

Thanks...Phil

So I guess there is still something out there Uh!!.

Not really, Your HJT log is clean, this stuff:

C:\Documents and Settings\Usuario\Cookies\usuario@stat.onestat[2].txt -> Spyware.Cookie.Onestat : Limpio con backup
Avenue A INc (Cookie)
Double Click (Cookie) are cookies and if you surf you will pick them up unless you make an effort to control them completely. Here is information to help you do this.
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/cookies.htm
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/using/...acy/config.mspx

eGroup. Instant Access (Hkey...wintrust) << left over fragment in the registry, as the next two might be. You will have to edit the registry to find and remove this stuff.
MAgic Control Agent
Trek Blue Error Nuker
These you did not tell me where they are?? Type in the words to search and find out, then go there and delete them. They may also be cookies.

I do not think they can do you any harm, just leftovers and hard to remove all. Try the CCleaner again in the Issues area (make sure you backup) perhaps it will find and remove them.

Window Security Agents Antivirus Disable notify change.
See this: http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=250

Since your HJT log is clean, here is information to perhaps keep you froum this from happening again if you read and follow: Here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss, ChrisRLG and Grinler to help you stay clean and safe online:
http://boards.cexx.org/viewtopic.php?t=957
http://russelltexas.com/malware/allclear.htm
http://forum.malwareremoval.com/viewtopic.php?t=14
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/2520/how-did-i-get-infected/

I will post a good free registry cleaner and the instructions for using it if you wish, you may let me know if you need this.

Tenga un gran día y practicar surf seguro

Gracias...fillippe
